Basic Appraisal Procedure 30 hour course is mandatory to obtain the Provisional Appraisal License. It may be used as an Elective course to obtain the Real Estate Brokers license.
The course includes the following topics: Appraisal concepts, Principles of Value, FIRREA, the Appraisal Process, Building Construction and Design, Data Collection, the 3 approaches to appraising(Market Data, Cost and Income Capitalization), Reconciliation and Appraisal report.
In addition to 30 hours for pre-licensing credit the student will receive credit for 6 hours of Continuing Education for Real Estate Salespersons & Brokers, and 18 hours for Appraisers toward renewing their license.
The course meets the minimum requirement as set forth by the Connecticut Real Estate Commission and the Connecticut Appraisal Commission.
Oct 21 - Nov 23, 2010 This class meets Tues and Thurs. 6:30-9:30pm.
